A Special Invitation – 5th Anniversary of Grace Baptist Partnership

When church-goers in the Victorian era heard Joseph Parker preach we are told they said, “Isn’t Joseph Parker wonderful?” Whereas, when they heard Charles Spurgeon preach they said, “Isn’t Jesus Christ wonderful?”

When we meet in early 2015 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Grace Baptist Partnership it is not to trumpet our accomplishments or to heap praise on our leaders. Rather we will meet to give an opportunity for those who have supported the work of the Partnership through their prayers and finances along with those who have been supported by our efforts in church planting and revitalisation to glorify God for the great things HE has done. Here is the plan.

How to be a Christian in a hostile world

How can we be Christians in a hostile world? How can we continue to believe and behave in such a way that testifies to our Saviour Jesus Christ? On 11th March at 7.30pm, it is our privilege to host Bishop Michael Nazir Ali at Grace Baptist Church in Angel, Islington to address these important questions.

For Whom Did Christ Die?

The Bible teaches us unequivocally that God became sinless-thoughtempted man in Jesus the Christ. During his three–year ministry, this Jesus commanded people to turn away from their sins to follow God and condemned those who refused to do so. The all-pervading message of the gospel is that Christ lovingly died an exemplary, selfless death in a perfect once-for-all sacrifice on a cross thus satisfying the righteous wrath of the Father by substitutionally enduring what rebellious mankind deserved, washing away sin and delivering sinners from the penalty and power of sin.
