Effective Evangelism

On 2 June 2014, leaders from 36 different churches gathered for a challenging day of ministry and encouraging times of fellowship at “Effective Evangelism”, a day conference hosted by Grace Baptist Church Edlesborough.

Jeremy Walker, Pastor of Maidenbower Baptist Church in Crawley, spoke on Effective Door to Door Evangelism; Andy Banton, General Secretary of the Open Air Mission, focused on Effective Open Air Preaching; Ali McLachlan, General Secretary of Grace Baptist Partnership Scotland, addressed the room on the subject of Effective Weeks of Evangelism, and Barry King, General Secretary of Grace Baptist Partnership, wrapped things up with a talk on Effective Small Group Evangelism.

The event itself, which included lunch and bundles of literature, was completely free of charge, and attendees were encouraged to spend their money on the table loads of books and evangelism related resources brought to the event by Dunstable Christian Bookshop.
