Partnership Update 2 – October 2017

Dear Partner in the Gospel

Though it would be impossible to tell you everything the Lord is doing in these days, there are a couple of more things I really should mention.

North Edinburgh

We are thankful that Conrad Mbewe will be speaking at a special meeting on Saturday, 14 October at 7:30pm at Grace Baptist Church in North Edinburgh. He will also preach there the next day as they celebrate the ordinance of baptism. We are also pleased to report that the Lord has graciously provided 100% of the funds needed to purchase the building at North Edinburgh. Thanks to all who contributed toward this purchase.

Ukraine

 ​Ryan King has just completed a teaching assignment in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. Please pray for these men as they prepare for involvement in a church planting initiative in Western Ukraine.

Effective Evangelism Conference

​Friends in the West Midlands will want to attend the next Effective Evangelism Conference. This will be the 12th – 8th in the United Kingdom – conference of this nature we have held in the past three years. More than 450 people have attended the previous 11 conferences. We trust this conference will be a continued blessing to the churches who desire not only to get the gospel ‘right’ but to get it ‘out’ as well.
