Partnership Update and Prayer Request
Dear Partners in the Gospel
I greet you in the wonderful and worthy name of Jesus!
Over the past few years Frances and I have gone away with the children for a few days around the end of November. This year, as last, we celebrated Thanksgiving Day at Canford Cliffs in Dorset. It has become customary for me to give my annual report to the congregation at Wood Green upon our return from this brief Holiday. I did so (at least the first installment!) last night. It was a blessed time as we thought together on the Lord’s blessing on this ministry of growing leaders, planting churches and reaching nations. I may well forward you an abstract of that report next week but in the meantime I wanted to make a special request for prayer.
John McDonald and I will visit Frankfurt, Germany the next three days. While there we will be meeting with men who have an interest in planting churches sharing our theological and ecclesiological distinctives in their homeland. Would you please remember us in prayer?
- Ask the Lord to grant us safety in our travels.
- Ask the Lord to be with our families in our absence.
- Ask the Lord to give us wisdom in our discussions with one another and the men we will be meeting.
- Ask the Lord to enable Grace Baptist Mission and Grace Baptist Partnership to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship as we serve the churches in our respective spheres of ministry.
We will look forward to reporting to you the outcome of our trip.
